Who Wants to Shoot Estes Rockets: Mini Blaster
My Thoughts:
I, Wendy, received 3 Estes Air Rockets to test and review. As a mother of a 9-year-old boy decided to do this review as a family. We had a blast doing shooting the rockets off! I loved seeing my son laughing and giggling while we were shooting the rockets. It was thrilling! We stayed outside shooting the rockets until it started raining again! Jacob wanted to stay out in the rain just to keep playing with them.
The first one was the Mini Blaster. It was simple to put together and great to have your kids help assemble. Estes is very kid friendly! The Mini Blaster is made of a foam material, which makes them light for taking off. This neat blaster pack that comes with 2 rockets, a foam launching pad, air hose and a rubber ball to help launch it. They also come with fresh and colorful stickers decals so that you can decorate your rockets.
As you can see, Jacob is holding the Mini Rocket. He was chomping at the bit from the time he picked up the box, to putting it together to the launching. He is helping me put it together and launching the Mini Blaster. We were excited to see how much height the Mini Blaster was able to climb, Jacob launched the first rocket! The Mini shots up about 25 to 30 feet before falling back to the ground. We had to do it again!
Even though the rain started again, Jacob wanted to stay outside and keep playing! Shooting rockets is a great outdoor activity for a family to do together. It will give everyone hours upon hours of fun, exercise and enjoyment! Plus, for all the parents who love to video, this is great home video time!!
Sonic Boom and Whirlwind Rockets
Little Bit of Safety Tips
The rockets are super fun, but your kids will need an adult to help to put them together. The rockets states on their package they are for kids ages 10 and up but it would be wise to watch if they run into any problems. If you have children that are younger, that is OK. As a parent, supervision is a must with Estes Rockets. There is some assembly for the rockets, and you will need to help.
The Estes Rockets are a blast! Pun, intended! Parents just remember safety comes first! The Rockets will build up air pressure. Rockets can be shot at least 150 feet in the air with the right amount of pressure, so remember, these are not to be aimed at anyone’s face and eyes. Again, Who Else Wants to Shoot Estes Rockets? Get your nieces, nephews and neighbor kids in on the fun! This will get kids outside and enjoy the fresh air and the sunshine! It lets kids be kids without getting into trouble!
The Rockets take a couple of minutes to put together and set up and well worth it! They stand about a foot in height, connected by 4 steady hoses to your launch pad. You or your kids will stand on the pedals on the pump to anchor, making the pump stable if you are on grass. I had to gently push up and down to get the air pressure built up, which I suggest you do nicely, and with even pumps, you will get the perfect amount. Jacob and I got the pressure “just right,” we released the rocket! You will see a white button near the pedals. Push it! The Sonic Boom and Whirlwind will shoot up with a POP, and the fun begins! Jacob ran to retrieve the rocket, and it was a rinse and repeat.
(Sorry about it being on the side! It will not turn over)
Rockets have a rubber nose on its end to make them bounce with ease when they hit the ground! They will not get banged up, break or crack when they hit the ground. I love this feature! I believe, Jacob does too because he likes to see them bounce! He squeals every time they hit. The afternoon is well spent shooting Estes Rockets. I believe they are worth everything they claim to be! If you want different forms of rockets, they have them! Shooting Estes Rockets is an excellent way to spend time with the family! I know my family enjoyed them immensely. We are going for round 2 tomorrow!

My family enjoyed setting the Estes Rockets up and firing them off. I believe you and your family will have just as much fun doing the same! This is an excellent way to spend time with the kids and enjoying the sunshine! You can take them to the park, get the neighbor kids, or just enjoy them any and everywhere.
