The Spice Lab Body Soaks For Mother’s Day is one of those gifts that would keep on giving long after your mom’s special day has passed. Picture it, a long tiresome day of fooling with kids, job or housework and all a mom wants to do is rest. A long hot soak in a bathtub filled with fragrances of lavender and Himalayan Pink Salts. HEAVEN sets in as one of her toes hit that sweet water.
As her child or husband, giving a mom a gift like that is almost as priceless as her family she loves and cherishes. Spice Lab Body Soaks can make that happen with the melting of their salts, blends, spices, and herbs. Everyone knows a household is only as happy as the matriarch.
Himalayan Pink Salt with Lavender Bath Soak:
Himalayan Pink Salts have the ability to sooth aches of a long day, and the calming properties of lavender make this one of my ultimate favorites. My bath so relaxing and soothing, I forget about time. The lavender is a soothing smell and not overbearing but perfect.
I sit in my garden tub and enjoy the heat of the water and a good book! Having my time, I infuse 2 of my favorite things to do in one memorable evening, bathing and reading! Who doesn’t like to read a great adventure and enjoy a bath at the same time? I know I do!
I don’t think I’m like ordinary people when I enjoy my bath either. I love to get up while everyone is still in bed and fill the tub up and soak. I love “me time.” Mine just happens to be around 2 in the morning! I hear chirps of crickets and ribbits of the frogs. Another plus to living in the country!
Lemon Citrus Bath Soak:
If you’re a Lemon Citrus fan, this my friends, is for you! I love the smell of fresh squeezed lemons! It reminds me of summer and fresh Lemonade! Being able to soak in this body soak was bliss on so many levels, I can’t begin to know where to start! I didn’t want to get out of the tub. I was going on some serious prune-looking skin before I was able to step foot out of my bath. This one is a complete pleasure to be able to do. The only thing now is to buy MORE!!!
Dead Sea Salt:
It’s said that salt from the Dead Sea had mystical healing properties. It’s rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium and bromides that relax a person and their muscles. Just like the other body soaks, I enjoy this one as well. You don’t have the fragrances of lavender or lemon citrus, but it’s nice to soak in a hot bath while feeling like you’re regenerated. I was looking for something to give my mother for Mother’s Day this year and found it in abundance! All 3 bottles of body soak would be spot on for my mom and probably many others! What an excellent way of being able to pamper yourself after a long day or just because you want to!
How to Take a Himalayan Crystal Salt Bath (Courtesy of The Spice Lab)
These are the steps that The Spice Lab suggests on how to use their products:
Step 1
Dissolve Himalayan Salt Crystals
Turn on the water, when water becomes hot or at the temperature best suited for you, close drain. Place 2 lbs of Himalayan crystals in the bottom of the tub. Fill the tub with about 3 inches of hot water to completely cover the bottom. Allow the salt crystals to dissolve. You will notice the minerals and clays dissolving out of the salt, this is normal.
Step 2
Fill the tub with hot but not overly hot water. It is best to take a bath that is around or slightly above body temperature for best results. The water needs to be a comfortable temperature for your body so you can relax and absorb the minerals. If it is too hot, you will perspire too much and dry out the skin. Don’t overfill the tub; you don’t want all that beautiful mineral-laden water to go down the overflow drain. You can always add more water and adjust the temperature once you are in the tub.
Step 3
Allow 20-30 minutes to relax in the water, soaking every part of your body. Don’t use soap or rinse off the water. For best results allow your body to air dry after leaving the tub to let the minerals fully penetrate your skin. Use this time in the tub to read something inspirational, pray, meditate or communicate with your guides. The most important thing is to relax and enjoy the hot water.
Step 4
After air drying, wrap up in a robe and rest for at least 30 minutes to allow your body to re-balance and rejuvenate. You will feel refreshed, relaxed and renewed. Discover the healing and soothing benefits of baths; you will find this to be a healthy and relaxing way to pamper yourself!

I love The Spice Lab Bath Soaks. Period. I think that I ‘ve found my new vice. My vices are very, very limited, to be honest, I think I have 3.
