How It Works:

Chamberlain Universal Garage Door Remote will have to be programmed or synced up to fit your garage door opener.  The steps that come with your mini garage door opener are simple and easy to do.

Step 1

Make sure the door on your garage door is closed.

Step 2

Press and hold the bottom button on the mini remote down until the blue LED light stays solid. This takes about 15 seconds to happen, once it does release the button.

Step 3

On your garage door opener, which is located on the ceiling,there is a Program/Set button. You will have to press and release the PROGRAM/LEARN button on your garage door opener. Grab a ladder to press the button. If you have a door control, press the PROGRAM/LEARN button twice on the control panel.

Step 4

On your mini remote, you’ll press and release the button that you want to be programmed twice. The Blue LED light will blink and will start sending  the reprogrammed codes to your garage door opener. This step could take up to a minute but have patience, it will happen!

Step 5

The garage door should to begin to open, and you’ll need to press and release either of the buttons on your remote to confirm and exit the programming mode.

Step 6

Last step! Test your mini remote by pressing the button you programmed. The door of your garage should open. Press the button again to close. IF the remote doesn’t open your garage door you’ll have to repeat step 4.    Congratulations! You have lift off!!

I love it! It’s easy to program and set up. You’re able to get more than one and program. Hook it to my key ring and I don’t have to worry about the bulky remote I have on my visor.

My son has a way into the house that’s easy to use with a click of a button. He feels like he’s independent and responsible. It’s a good feeling to have as a child.

I also like that the Mini Remote lightweight and really inexpensive. People who are active runners, cyclists, and walkers don’t have to worry about being weighed down with clunky keys.

People like my father who love to get the Harley out to ride, the mini remote fits in his pocket or the saddlebag. Perfect day for riding, he doesn’t want to worry about his keys. Wind in the hair, freedom and the wide open road is all that is on his mind.

My family has been fans of Chamberlain products for years. They are always one step ahead in their technology and I wouldn’t ever expect anything less. Great remote.
