Easter is coming and time to get out the baskets. What a great little snack to stuff in a kids Easter basket then Hi-Chew candies. Fruit flavors that are not overpowering and taffy that’s soft enough for you to chew these little snacks are delicious!
Hi-Chew Spring Mix Bag:
I, Wendy, received a bag of Hi-Chew Spring Mix Bag, three classics, sensationally chewy fruit flavors: Strawberry, Green Apple, and Mango.I have never heard of or tried these treats before, but I couldn’t wait to be able to try them. So these are my thoughts!
Strawberry:
The taffy-like candy had a little firmness to it but wasn’t overly hard. The flavor was excellent and pleasant without that after taste you normally would get after eating some other taffies. I enjoyed it. When you open the package, you can smell the fruitiness. It’s LOADED! When you bit into it, it had a light pink center where the strawberry goodness would find your taste buds. The fruit flavor was mild. I liked it and could see myself get addicted to these little morsels. Starburst’s move over for the new kid on the block!
Green Apple:
Green Apple was excellent too. Like the Strawberry Hi-Chew, the flavor was spot on. The texture on these candies are not waxy and doesn’t leave a film behind in your mouth, which I am thankful. This candy had a mild green apple taste which made it perfect in my book!
Mango:
I’m not a mango fan, but my mom told me she would “take one for the team.” I laughed because I knew she loves these type of flavored candies as much as I do. These Hi-Chew candies have more of a stronger flavor than the first 2, but that’s ok with mom. She wanted all there was in the bag! So there was a fan in my household and Hi-Chew will be in the snack drawer!
The overall view of Hi-Chew candies was that they were excellent and tasty. They’re taffy-like with wild fruit flavors that will make you want more! In this sweet tooth family, that’s a good thing! I think they’re a great candy to stuff in your pocket and go.
If any of you remember the candy Bonkers from the 1980’s, I believe that you’ll fall in love with Hi-Chews. I know as a kid those were my ultimate FAVORITE candies. I finally found something that will take me back to my childhood and make me smile! Life is good in the candy world!
Easter Basket Ideas:
Hi-Chew’s wrapped in beautiful pastel-colored packs and is a great variety to fill any Easter basket and enjoy the holiday! The kiddies would love waking up on Easter morning being able to snack Hi-Chews, I know my son would. Who knows but I think I am going to start a new tradition of Easter candies with Hi-Chews!
