Go Crazy and Eat A Nut and Raisin Cake
Ever just wanted something sweet but not too sweet? Try this cake out and find it hits the spot with your sweet tooth craving! This Nut and Raisin cake has the perfect amount of ingredients that mix and compliment each other. What a perfect way to finish a simple dinner with or get a bit of tea. You can bring the kids into the kitchen to help make the cake! It is simple to make and can make a great bonding moment with you and your family!
Ingredients:
1 box of Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake mix
3 eggs
1 cup water
1/2 cup oil (whatever you like to use)
1 1/2 cups raisins
1 cup dried cranberries
1 1/2 to 2 cups sweetened coconut flakes
2 cups of pecan chips
Directions:
Heat your oven 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl add your cake mix, eggs, water and oil and whisk until the ingredients are mixed well. Add raisins, dried cranberries, and sweetened coconut flakes, mix until it is incorporated in the batter fully. Add pecan chips and mix into your batter.
In a bundt pan, spray with non stick spray where it covers all surfaces. Add your batter to your pan, evenly. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
When you are ready to take out of pan, make sure you take a butter knife to the edges to loosen the cake from the pan. Plate and serve. I like this cake when it is still hot and steamy!
With a tall glass of cold milk and a fresh out of the oven cake you will be able to enjoy life’s simple pleasures!
Until next recipe……

Sounds yummy & love that you included cranberries which I love more than raisins. Also surprised to see the coconut flakes as I usually only use them to decorate dishes & never add to ingredients … sounds yummy.
This cake looks delicious! I like that you described it as sweet, but not overly sweet. I’ll have to try it!
I think it is one of the best ones I have tried. Sometimes though, I love to over stuff with raisins and cranberries… 🙂 I hope you like it too!
Yuummy!! This cake looks so delicious and it is perfect for my New Year’s dinner. Thank you!
Yes ma’am! I hope you enjoy it!
This sounds yummy! I bet this would be awesome with chocolate chips too. Will have to give this a try and see what the kids think. Would make a great hostess/holiday gift too.

i love anything with nuts, but not with raisin, i love raisins in cookies tho, this looks amazing and yummy love that the recipe looks very easy to make
If you do not like raisin substitute them for dried cranberries, blueberries or anything of the sort! I think any of these would be good!
Yes! I completely approve this! One of my favorite cake recipes of all time <3
This cake looks delicious and easy to make. I’ll probably substitute blueberries for the cranberries since I don’t like cranberries.
It looks moist and tasty! I can’t wait to learn how to bake. That’s one of my new year’s resolution. 🙂

I think I’d like this cake a lot. I’d definitely look forward to eating a piece with a cup of tea and a book!
Sounds like a perfect afternoon! If you like Earl Grey, this cake pairs very well with it!
Not really sure why I don’t like raisins really. They just really don’t catch my taste buds. Looks delish though. My son used to love eating raisins as a baby now he doesn’t like them.
This cake is jam packed! I am loving all the ingredients in it. It’s definitely perfect with your favorite cup of hot tea or coffee!
That cake looks super moist. I’m gonna have to try this recipe.
