JBL’s Flip 3: All Weather Speaker Companion is a title that fits this powerful little speaker to a tee. Spring Break is here, summer is around the corner, and this equals BEACH TIME!!!! Who doesn’t love the beach? The sun to tan your skin, ocean water to cool your skin, and sand to wiggle your toes in, but wait! There’s more!! JBL Flip 3 is a powerful speaker that will blast out your favorite tunes. Bluetooth, battery life up to 10 hours of play time and did I mention it’s splashproof and waterproof? That’s right SPLASHPROOF and WATERPROOF!

Why Should You Get A JBL Flip3?

• 10 hours of playtime. Ideal for when you’re by the pool or at the beach.
• Don’t have to worry about batteries! It charges up with a USB cable to you can either stick in an adaptor in the wall or a computer or your vehicle!
• Splashproof! Meaning if you get this lovely speaker wet, you don’t have to fret! It’s also waterproof! Hold it under running water, and it will not hurt the speaker! Awesome!

All these reasons are perfect; you couldn’t ask for anything better, right? I know this Spring Break my family is heading to Myrtle Beach. Soaking up the rays of the sun while trying not to look like Casper the Friendly Ghost! Yes, this little Irish girl is white! But I will be able to listen to my favorite music while I tan or turn into a human lobster. I will not have to worry about bringing batteries, water or sand ruining my speaker.

Flip3 Quality:

JBL Flip 3 hasn’t disappointed me at all. The quality of sound blasting from the Flip3 speaker is mind-blowing.  Remember the old style boombox back in the day? I know I am telling on myself, but to me, it is like a boombox that you can fit in your hand!

The JBL Flip3 is sturdy and well made. As you can see, it fits in the palm of your hand and is very portable. Wherever you take it, you’ll be able to throw it in your bag and run. The sound quality will make you think you have a full system in your yard, beach or beside the pool.

Water Proof:

Yes, the JBL Flip3 speaker is waterproof and splash-proof. Being by the pool, beach or your yard and the Flip3 gets wet it will not pop, sizzle and snap at you. It’ll keep playing like nothing ever happened! I love this! I know me and I know I’m a clutz, so this is a perfect feature.

You know what it is like when you’re around a pool, accidents always happen. I don’t have to worry! JBL Flip3 has me covered on that.

Sound Quality of the Flip3:

The sound quality of the Flip3 is magnificent. The bass is on the spot. The subs are located on the sides of the speaker for maximum Boom Boom. I love a little bass! Remember “It’s all about da bass.”

Flip 3 also features a built-in noise and echo canceling speakerphone for crystal clear conference calls, or just listening to your favorite bands. JBL Connect technology that can wirelessly link multiple JBL Connect enabled speakers together to amplify the listening experience. So if you are having a group of friends over and they have a Flip3 speaker, you’ll be able to link them together. How cool is that? The sounds are crisp and lovely. I was pleased.

How To Charge Your Flip3:

Charging your Flip3 is incredibly simple. There is an adapter to plug-in a USB cable. You can use a USB adaptor and plug it into the wall or plus the USB right into your computer. Let it charge, and you are ready for more long hours of jamming out to your favorite bands! It takes a tiny amount of time to get fully charged. JBL provides you a USB cable connector, so you will be able to charge up the Built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery.

All the music control buttons you need are located on the top near the USB connection. Linking to Bluetooth and making a connection is easy. I was able to listen to my music the way it’s supposed to be heard. It’s a pleasure when I was able to listen to the deeper bases and richer fuller sounds of the music. I have enjoyed every aspect of this speaker.

I have been a fan of JBL in the past, and as always they don’t disappoint. I’m thinking about grabbing one of these speakers for my son’s birthday. I believe it would make a great gift.

Cons of Owning A Flip3:

This only con that I have about the Flip3 is that it will roll if you are not careful. I ended up putting something behind it to make sure it was steady. However, it does come with a hand loop, so when you’re walking with the Flip3, you can slide it over your wrist and be fine. I love this speaker and wished I had many of them.

They are great speakers to have, and the battery life on them are amazing! I can sync it up with my smart phone and listen to my music or talk with someone while hearing them come in crystal clear. I don’t think you could ask for something better than the Flip3.
