Hey Everyone! This is Rose checking in with a baby product review! Hope you have enjoyed some of my recipes here at Spark of Southern Moms. This time I’m reviewing the Nurture Smart Mobile by More Than Play!
This Nurture Smart Mobile is for my 3-month-old, Lily, who just got to the age where she can start to enjoy toys and mobiles. She has reached the milestone where she can track moving objects. Yay for Lily! It’s such a fun age! She is really starting to interact with us, as well as all of the things around her. She has a couple of mobiles in her nursery right now, and she is really starting to enjoy watching them spin around. When I learned about this mobile from More Than Play, I couldn’t wait to set it up in the nursery and watch my little one play with it!
Nurture Smart Mobile Features:
There are some great features of this mobile that I think you will enjoy. For starters, installation is easy. Some mobiles require multiple pieces and steps to put them together. This mobile comes fully assembled, and it attaches to the crib in one step, using the piece that is already attached to it. All you have to do is loosen the giant screw with your hand, slide the green piece through the crib rails, turn it, and tighten the same screw. Done!
Secondly, there are a variety of controls so you can get a lot of play out of this one toy. For listening pleasure, you can choose from white noise, a heartbeat, waves, a lullaby, or classical music. You can also set a timer on the sound you chose (from 15 minutes up to an hour).
Now I don’t know how easy it is to get your cutie pie to sleep, but my baby takes a while to fall asleep. Some of her noisy toys that I use to put her to sleep with don’t work well, because they only stay on for 5 or 10 minutes, and I constantly have to turn them back on. With this mobile, I can set it to an hour without having to constantly push the button! Happy baby equals happy mommy!
Volume and Options:
Volume can be adjusted to 3 different settings, which is equally helpful. Sometimes, I start off with high volume if she’s a bit fussy, and turn it down to low when she’s calmer and quieter. We now turn to the sense of sight! And there are plenty of options for your viewing pleasure as well! This is no average mobile. Yes, it has 3 pieces that spin in a circle, should you choose to turn on the button to make it.
We now turn to the sense of sight! Nurture Smart Mobile offers plenty of options for your viewing pleasure as well! This isn’t the average mobile. Yes, it has 3 pieces that spin in a circle, should you choose to turn on the button to make it spin. However, those 3 pieces flip from color to black and white designs. So if you have a high-needs baby like I do, that often gets bored watching the same old thing, this is a great feature. If your baby is bored of one side of designs, you can flip the pieces over and change it up. It’s like having a brand new toy all over again.
Next, we have a large mirror smack dab in the center of the mobile so your baby can do what she loves best, look at her adorable self! My little Lily pad is just at that age where she is starting to enjoy mirrors too, so she’s having quite a bit of fun just looking at herself.
Finally, there is the nightlight, one of my favorite features of this toy. At night, touch the nightlight button on the mobile, and the ceiling illuminates with moon and stars! The first time Lily saw this, she lit right up with a huge smile!
The arm of the mobile does adjust, so you can bring it closer or farther away from your baby’s face.
Improvements That I Won’t Mind Seeing:
A couple of small things I believe could be improved on this mobile: it doesn’t attach to some modern cribs. That is my most important critique and concern would be that the Creators should provide a way to attach it to modernized cribs. In my opinion, if you are willing to spend money on a mobile of this caliber, you most likely have also bought a fancy, modernized crib for your baby.
Sadly, while the mobile arm adjusts to accommodate for different widths of crib slats, it does not accommodate for different heights of crib railings. Unfortunately, I was not able to attach this to my beautiful crib as intended because my crib railing is too high. My husband was able to jerry-rig something in order for Lily to at least still get use out of it. This mobile, after all, is such an awesome mobile and simulator, I didn’t want it to go to waste! Lily really loves it, especially the nightlight feature I mentioned above. Beautiful!
The Volume:
My second critique would be to adjust the volume of the mobile. Even at the loudest setting, it’s fairly quiet. Overall, Lily and I really do love this mobile, and I am definitely glad we have it. It’s been one of Lily’s most used toys. The couple of things I mentioned above, I would still recommend it to a friend or family member for their little one to enjoy. Parents buying Nurture Smart Mobile for their babies, I’m certain you and your baby will get as much enjoyment out of it as we have!

Lily looks so grateful with her Nurture Smart Mobile. That was a lot of good features for the baby’s development. She will never get bored because of the many options and I bet that nightlight will become Lily’s favorite among the others.
Wow! Even mobiles are getting more and more high tech these days! I love that these has a lot of features for your baby to explore and play with.
This is really awesome for your baby, I know someone who really need this.
Awww this is adorable! I’m sure your little one adore it .xx
Wow, mobiles have come a long way since I was a baby! Mine was made of paper butterflies hung on little black wires!
The Nurture Smart Mobile is so fancy!
Amazing products for babies and to sooth them. This is so nice.
What a cool product. I love all the different features
This is a great reminder. We just got a crib for our upcoming arrival, but I didn’t even think about the mobile. This one looks lovely.
Congratulations on the new upcoming bundle of joy! I don;t think you ever “remember” everything!
This is like the best mobile ever! I love all the things it can do. What a great gift this would make.
I am going to have to look into this more. My best friend is about to have her first baby.
This looks really cool, so odd that it doesn’t fit on a modernized crib. I wonder why that is?
Good Question but hopefully they will accommodate to modern cribs in the future. It’s such a great mobile.
Anything to keep baby quiet sometimes is welcome by every weary mother….LOL. This is very cute
Omg she is so adorable! I co-slept with my daughter for the first 6 months of her life so she didn’t really use a mobile. But this one would have been so perfect!
Oh wow…there are so many different buttons with this mobile. I love it! I absolutely love that it lights up a room with the moon and stars.
Wow this Nurture Smart Mobile sounds really cool! I will definitely check them out once my little one will be born. Thank you for your nice feedback about this!
Not thrilled that we’re introducing electronic stuff to our kids at younger & younger ages. It’s nuts but fortunately the kids could care less as I was helping a friend babysit her new grandson & Jameson did nothing more than chew on the toy remote.
