Sweet N Spicy Wings would be great to serve with any type of dip, sour cream and veggie that you would like. Serve the wings to your family and friends as finger foods at a football game, get together or a birthday party! I believe these little beauties will be a huge hit!!
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 lbs chicken drumlets
- 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 (12 ounce) cans carbonated lemon-lime beverage
- 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
- Blue Cheese dressing
- Blue Cheese crumbles
- Avocado
In large nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken wings; sprinkle with pepper flakes. Cook uncovered 5 to 8 minutes while stirring occasionally, until browned. Drain oil from your skillet. Stir in the carbonated beverage, green chilies and taco seasoning mix. Increase heat to medium-high to high and cook uncovered 15 minutes while stirring occasionally. Make sure you stir because they will stick and burn to the bottom of the pan.
Reduce heat to medium heat. Cook 5 to 10 minutes while stirring frequently, until the chicken drumlets are completely glazed. Pull off the heat and let the drumlets/wings sit for about 5 minutes. While a small amount of glaze will remain in the skillet, plate your wings and add the extra glaze on top.
I like to serve my wings with avocado, blue cheese dressing or ranch. Sour cream is also good to dip your wings into.
This is great little treat for you to serve at game time parties, birthday parties or just because! The wings will give a sweeter taste with a kick and still make you go back for more! I hope you enjoy Sweet N Spicy Wings! My family loves them!

I like the idea of sweet and spicy wings. Those flavors compliment each other so well. Give me a side of ranch and I’m all set.
I totally agree about the ranch! I hope you enjoy the wings whenever you decide to cook them!
Nice! Usually I would stick with a Buffalo Wings recipe but this sounds easy and different. I would always go with ranch.
My kids and husband love wings. They like honey bbq wings because they are both sweet and spicy, too.
