Gifted Custom Art: My Choice In Painting

I, Wendy, was able to choose a picture and begin my paint by number with Gifted Custom Art. A paint by number canvas is exciting to be able to do. I couldn’t wait to get started and see what the finished product looked like when completed. My choice of photographs was one of my parents on their 30th wedding anniversary. That is a long time to be in love and stay together, but they made it seem easy.

Both of my parents served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years apiece and both are now retired. They met on an island called the Azores where their romance blossomed. They worked hard, raised a family, and are enjoying living life together. The picture I chose was on the day the made their union official, a day they now share with my brother and his beautiful bride. Walking together down the aisle, like they did 30 years ago, my parents. Beautiful, isn’t it? We all hope to be able to find our soul mates one day.

Gifted Custom Art: The Painting

Gift Custom Art sends you all what you see in the pictures with your set. It comes with a cardboard box can be easily folded to make an easel, paint, brushes, and of course, your canvas. You can sit anywhere in your home and paint! How cool is that! The paint brushes are in multiple sizes so you can choose which size fits your needs. The paint number labels match the numbers on the canvas, and the tubes are big! You don’t have to worry about running out of paint!

With that said, it is time to paint! This painting took me over 5 hours to do, which was OK. I had picked a photo with a lot of details and I had a blast doing it. I sat in my living room and watched Scrubs on Netflix while painting. Perfect afternoon, sipping tea, painting a gorgeous paint by number and enjoying a cool show!

Gifted Custom Art: My Thoughts

I absolutely love the idea of a paint by number of your favorite photo to gift to a loved one or just to keep for yourself. This has been a fun and crafty project that I would do over again! Gifted Custom Art gives you time to really think how much the people in the painting means to you while you sit there and dip your brush in the color. Each stroke of the brush, each little bit of canvas that you cover with paint, you are able to put a little of yourself in the painting.

I know I was able to think about the past, the future and the present as I painted. To be able to create a painting that had love behind it. To me, it is better than buying something out of a store. I am going to be able to gift this painting to my parents on Valentine’s Day. The frame to encase the painting, to me, gives it the extra bump. I think it turned out great!
